Covenant Technology Group was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia. While originally proving outsourced CIO expertise to regional healthcare organizations, we quickly evolved into a developer of niche solutions not widely available in the marketplace. We listen carefully to our customers, understand the problems that need to be solved, and then we work to develop effective solutions that are simple to implement and use. All of our solutions are delivered as a subscription service or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), which means there is no software to load or maintain. Users need only a current browser and an internet connection.
Prior to starting Covenant Technology Group, Tim spent the prior 20 years of his career in various healthcare roles. He started as a practice manager for a small orthopedic group. From there he joined a 60+ sized physician lead MSO where he served in several capacities most notably heading up their IT efforts. He has also served in a healthcare consulting capacity for many years with a wide range of clients from rural hospitals to ASC’s to various physician practices.
Tim leads all of Covenant’s software development efforts. He has a unique ability to listen and fully understand organizational challenges and craft elegant, easy to use software solutions that solve specific problems.
Tim is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and serves on the advisory board for several local businesses in Savannah.
Steve Smith is a seasoned sales professional with over 20 years of experience working with physicians and management professionals. Steve left to pursue more direct sales opportunities within the healthcare industry, which included information technology (supporting the growth of practice management and electronic health record systems) and eventually leading sales for a south east focused provider of revenue cycle management.
